FACIAL REJUVENATION

NOSE RHINOPLASTY

A rhinoplasty is a surgery that improves the appearance of the nose, either by reducing or increasing size, changing the shape of the tip or the septum, slimming expansion of the nostrils or changing the angle between the nose and upper lip. It can also be performed in cases of congenital malformations or changes by accidents and to correct a breathing problem, which is supported by an otolaryngologist surgeon to complement the procedure.

EYEBROW LIFT

This procedure involves repositioning the eyebrows generally higher. An eyebrow lift can help to improve the appearance of the skin around the upper eyelid and give the patient a more attractive shape.

Brow lift can be done in different ways. Sometimes it is preferable to use an endoscope (a thin tube with a camera at the end) and special instruments placed through small incisions inside the hairline. This will adjust the tissue and muscle beneath the skin, correct the source of visible folds and furrows on the forehead.
It may also be advisable to make a "coronal incision," which is created from the ear to the ear through the top of the head into the skin that carries the hair. The skin of the forehead is then lifted and any muscle adjustment can be done under direct visualization. The scar resulting from a raised coronary eyebrow is hidden inside the hair. For women with very high forehead, an incision just in the anterior line of the hair may be ideal, this way the eyebrow can be lifted without altering the height of the frontal line of the hair; the resulting scar, although somewhat more visible, can often be hidden with bangs.
Usually the procedures last about 1 hour and the patient can return home the same day.

FACE LIFT RHYTIDECTOMY

Face lift surgery counteract the problems associated with aging. There are several factors that influence on this such as age, prolonged sun exposure and stress of daily life. All this causes wrinkles, lines or grooves that run from the nose to the mouth, along the so-called "crow's feet", furrows between the eyebrows, sagging skin and muscles of the face. Aging causes a decrease in the thickness of the skin and subcutaneous fat with fat deposits on chin, cheek and eyelids. Another sign as well are the sagging cheeks, plus the eyebrows

Eyelid surgery corrects the eyes contour by eliminating the drooping upper lids and lower puffy bags, characteristics that make us look older and more tired than we are, in some cases, it could block our vision. However, blepharoplasty does not remove "crow's feet" or other wrinkles, nor drooping eyebrows. It can be performed in isolation or together with other cosmetic surgery of the face and brow lift.

DOUBLE CHIN
LIPOSUCTION

A double chin is caused by excess fat and loose skin on the neck beneath the chin which causes the appearance of a second area of fullness beneath it. This procedure can improve the angle between the jaw and neck or cervical mandibular angle, achieving a symmetrical and harmonious look on our face. The incisions are small and punctate, leaving a very small and almost imperceptible scar that it is always performed in discrete or hidden areas. This procedure lasts less than an hour and is performed under local anesthesia.

CHIN AUGMENTATION

Cosmetic chin surgery is a process that seeks to improve chin projection; chin enhancement can be accomplished via facial implants for chin enlargement or advancement, or via chin reduction, this surgery is for those who would like their jaw to appear less prominent. It brings facial features into harmony and balances the overall facial structure there by improving its aesthetic appearance. In this procedure an incision below the mental crease is done, then its placed a blank silastic prosthesis to achieve harmonious and the aesthetic appearance that is desired.

The chin prosthesis is soft silicone, it requires adjustment of the implant for proper alignment and aesthetically-pleasing contour, depending exclusively on each patient. This prosthesis is placed beneath skin tissues of the chin and it does not expire, its permanent, it is not necessary to replace it at any time but if it’s required, it can be easily removed without complications.

BICHAT BAGS

The Bichat fat pad is a fat pad involving the entire hemiface. It stretches from the temporal region to the cheek, passing through the zygomatic malar tunnel and the pterygomandibular fossa. The process is easy and painless.

OTOPLASTY (EAR SURGERY)

It is one of the few interventions conducted in adolescents and adults, ear surgery can improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear. It can correct a defect in the ear structure that is present at birth, such as overly large ears or protruding ears, and can also treat ear shape that becomes more noticeable with development or misshapen ears caused by injury.

Otoplasty is performed through an incision in the back of the ear then surgeon will then remove the necessary amounts of cartilage and skin required to achieve the right effect. In some cases, the surgeon will trim the cartilage, shaping it into a more desirable form and then pin the cartilage back with permanent sutures to secure the cartilage.
In other instances, the surgeon will not remove any cartilage at all, using stitches to hold the cartilage permanently in place. After sculpting the cartilage to the desired shape, the surgeon will apply sutures to anchor the ear until healing occurs to hold the ear in the desired position. Permanent stitches may be used to help keep the ear in place.

Another technique involves simply folding the cartilage onto itself to bring the ear closer to the head.

FACIAL HAIR TRANSFER

In most cases the partial or complete loss of hair in a particular area such as the eyebrows, beard or mustache is caused by surgery, burns, trauma and different medical treatments. The patient usually wants to stimulate the growth of facial hair
for a more natural look. In many cases, the person tends to get impatient with the slow growth of his own facial hair or even there are cases in which, the hair does not grow back in certain areas. Sometimes it can be hereditary, in these cases we can increase our facial hair with surgery.

Facial hair transplantation can be performed in areas of the face such as eyebrows, mustache, sideburn and beard.

The hair to be transplanted will have to come from other areas where facial hair is
abundant hair or scalp. Hardly the receiving area of the transplanted hair initially possess the same qualities as the donor site, however, over time, the hair will adapt to the new zone.

For men and women that have a healthy and abundant hair equals a full and vibrant youth, when you suffer from hair loss denotes much older compared to people without this condition. Hair transplantation is the only permanent solution to remedy this situation. The techniques in hair transplantation are mainly technical FUSS and FUE.

FUSS:
The FUSS technique is normally used and involves removing a strip of hair from the back of the head. This strip will be cut in hundreds of follicular units to transplant them later in areas of the head without hair or in areas where it is required to have a higher density of hair. The area where the strip is removed is closed by the surgeon, leaving a horizontal scar makes it imperceptible unless the patient is completely shave the head.

FUE:
Follicular Unit Extraction is a treatment for hair loss that involves removing or "collect" the hair follicles individually from the back of the head for transplantation. FUE is different from the other methods of surgical hair restoration because it is less invasive, produces no linear scar along and is ideal for those who want to wear their hair very short or those whose scalp has not enough elasticity to a pickup strip form. It can also be used in patients with surgery strip (FUT) for maximum traditional head covering.
